Act of Contrition????????

We have no classes yesterday. Too bad for the MTh classes. Anyway, I enjoyed my weekend with my family though I spent most of the time reading 10 chapters of Iliad for my world literature class. ASARRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! I spend more time on this minor subject than my majors. We're treated like English majors in our class. FYI, I've taken a literature class(literature and society) when I was a freshie in UP and it somehow instilled in me some kind of trauma. It was then that I realized that literature was not my thing. I find it hard to grasp details especially when it comes to long novels. Yeah, I love reading. But I don't want it to be graded. Maybe, it's one of the reasons why I shifted from an Arts degree to a Science degree. Another thing, my profs in these two literature subjects are the same person. You may ask why I took literature this sem when I keep on saying that it's not my thing. Well, it's just some kind of accident(you know, unexpected). I really didn't enlist for this subject but it 'magically' appeared on my registration form. I didn't have the chance to cancel it because of the lack of time. Another reason is that it's very difficult to look for a substitute for this subject if it so happens that I cancel it. Haaaayyyy!!!! All I can do is sigh!!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna miss the summer of 2005!!!

I really mean it! I enjoyed this year's summer. For the very first time, I joined Trumpets Playshop(after how many years...). I enjoyed being at playshop because the people are so cool. I learned how to be myself in front of a lot of people. I also learned how to use my talents for the greater glory of God. Actually, we have a showcase last May 27. Thanks to my family because they've supported me throughout the show. It was really my weakness to perform in front of them but God gave me the confidence I need through Trumpets. I enjoyed the rehearsals and the showcase itself. As Mica Pineda (Summer Stock student) had said, "the magic doesn't stop after the first showcase." I still want to learn more about musical theater and how I can use it to proclaim God's Word! I hope I can still make it to Trumpets next year. God is so good, all the time!

Pasukan Na!!!!!

Yeah! School starts again! Aren't you excited? Me? I'm so excited! Why? Because, I'm gonna do a lot of things this sem. Though I'm gonna take my first major subject and 2 ES courses, I make it a point to do what God wants me to do. Right now, I'm a member of the Stillwaters leadership team now and I'm quite challenged of my job as one of the leaders. It's really amazing how God works in me these past few days. Little by little, I can makes sacrifices for Him. It was still vivid in my memory when I struggled for decision if I'm gonna attend our rehearsals at trumpets or I'm gonna attend the leadership retreat. God gave me a simple yet nice answer. I chose to attend the leadership retreat because it is where God leads me to. Really, God answers prayers! Just have faith. I thank God because He never ever left me during the boring summer days. I pray that God will continue to bless my life as I do my job as a leader of His church!
